Your LUmail account is your personal productivity dashboard. View and manage your emails, appointments, tasks, and reminder notes with your LUmail.
The university corresponds with you through LUmail (powered by Gmail). Information such as grade reports or course schedule changes will be sent to you through this account. The Gmail email system is used by Laurentian University students.
WebAdvisor is Laurentian University's Online Registration System
Your WebAdvisor account is where you register for your courses. The program will provide you with class times and locations, allow you to check your academic status, and allow you to make changes to your course selection. You will also use this system to check your final grades at the end of the semester.
WebAdvisor is one of your most important resources.
J.N. Desmarais Library & Archives
The J.N. Desmarais Library is a full depository library for the Government of Canada. Our collection of government documents is the largest in Northern Ontario. Search the library's catalogue for documents in print or electronic format.
The archives houses various special collections of books, as well as holdings of archival fonds. The following special collections are catalogued, and are searchable in the library's web catalogue: rare books; the faculty authors collection; the regional collection; the vertical files of the mining environment database; theses submitted by the university’s graduate students; fourth-year essays and translations.
LU ZONE UL distributes and preserves the scholarly work of LU faculty. It is a space for faculty to support the dissemination of knowledge created at Laurentian.
Laurentian has several computer labs around campus. Their locations:
- the Fraser Building in room F-213/214;
- the Classroom Building in room C-104;
- the Phys Ed. Building in room B-265;
- the Single Student Residence Building in room G-27;
- the Brenda Wallace Lab;
- the Learning Commons on the 2nd floor of the J.N. Desmarais Library.
Tech Hub & IT Services
The Tech Hub is an authorized IBM, Lenovo and Apple service center as well as an Educational reseller. Our knowledgeable staff is able to provide support for all makes and models of personal computers and assist you with any of the Laurentian IT services. We offer a friendly bilingual service and support for Laurentian University by email, phone and in person.

The Tech Hub is located in the the Arts Building in room A-100 (next to the Tim Horton's).
Our normal hours are:
- Winter: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm
- Summer: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm
